My Story:

I was initially attracted to Lincoln due to its ranking for psychology and after my first visit to Lincoln, I knew it was the place I wanted to live as it was so welcoming and homely. I loved the location of the campus and knew I would be happy living here, both whilst studying and after graduating.
I stayed in Lincolnshire as I enjoyed it so much at university that I didn’t want to leave, it’s a lovely area to live and work with plenty of career opportunities available. Before starting my job search and working in Lincolnshire, I thought it would be difficult to find a job due to a lack of variety in industries. Since working here I’ve realised that there is a wide range of career opportunities available.
My career aspirations have changed quite a lot since graduation, initially, I wanted to go into the HR sector as this was a fairly popular route for Psychology graduates. However, since starting my job as an Insurance Administrator I have taken an interest in the insurance sector, I am now going to be completing insurance qualifications and looking to further my career in this industry.
